Our city, our vote.
Mayor Dickens and the Atlanta City Council continue to ignore the voices of the people they represent. This is unethical, unacceptable, and has become sadly unsurprising.
The majority of people in Atlanta are in agreement: the people deserve to have a voice on legislative and spending decisions that are made by our City government. But the City of Atlanta has repeatedly refused to count over 100,000 petition signatures to allow people to vote on Cop City.
Enough is enough. We continue to call on the Atlanta City Council to do their job. Obstructing democracy is not an option.
This year is an election year for mayor and council in Atlanta. Join us to hold these elected officials accountable at the ballot box.
