The fight to #StopCopCity shouldn’t just be about how our politicians have betrayed us, it’s also about the fact that we believe that the transformation of society is needed in order for everyone to have real safety and dignity. We want to be engaged with each other as neighbors and community members to determine what we want the future of the city to be.
Your opinion matters too. Make it an informed one. Talk to folks who don’t agree with you. Get curious about all this talk of what people power, transformative justice, root cause solutions, and direct democracy is! Hell, just decide to do something different for a change!
The coalition behind #CopCityVote will be offering political education and skill building workshops to continue our commitment to the transformation of Atlanta’s political landscape. We hope you will join us starting August 5th for community building, different types of learning, leadership opportunities, and connecting with our constellation of movement leaders.
